I offer a space where you can begin to process and integrate what you’ve been carrying—at your own pace
I'm Lana Harris, an EMDR Certified Licensed Professional Counselor.
I know that it is no small thing to begin therapy—especially if you’re coming in with the sense that something hasn’t fully shifted, even after doing meaningful work.
It takes a level of openness to look inward in this way. And it matters to me to approach that with care.
My role is not to tell you who to be or what to do. It is to create a space where you can begin to understand your experience more clearly—and process what you’ve been carrying in a way that leads to real change.
My approach is gentle, thoughtful, and grounded.
I aim to create a space that feels steady and nonjudgmental—where you can talk about and process difficult experiences without feeling rushed or overwhelmed.
Using EMDR therapy, we work at a deeper level to process and integrate what you’ve been through, so it no longer feels the same in the present.
This is not about pushing through or forcing change.
It’s about allowing your system the time and space it needs to resolve what hasn’t fully shifted.

I am an EMDR Certified Licensed Professional Counselor working with adults who are seeking relief from anxiety, depression, and the experience of feeling stuck or caught in patterns that don’t seem to shift.
My background in trauma work began before I became a therapist. I worked as a Victim Advocate within a District Attorney’s office, and later as a Client Advocate at a Sexual Assault Center while completing graduate school. After earning my degree, I continued my work there as a psychotherapist.
These experiences continue to inform how I approach therapy—with an understanding of how deeply experiences can be held, and how important it is to move through that work with care and intention.
You can expect our work to move at a pace that feels manageable.
You don’t need to have everything figured out before you begin.
And you won’t be expected to go anywhere you’re not ready to go.
Over time, many people begin to notice a greater sense of clarity, less emotional reactivity, and a deeper sense of grounding in their day-to-day life.
I take this work seriously.
Creating a space where you can safely explore and process difficult experiences is something I approach with care, intention, and respect.
If you’re looking for a way to move beyond insight and into something more complete, this may be a good fit.
